Please join us for the first of our fall Every Child Ready to Read workshops, "Sharing Books With Young Children", on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. We will discuss what books work best with what ages and suggest tips for parents on how to read to your children at home. We will also introduce the six early literacy skills that children need to develop before they begin to learn to read. This workshop is for parents, grandparents and caregivers of children ages 0 to 6. Child care is available.
