Are you a chess enthusiast in grade three through grade five? If you are, plan to attend the Beaverton City Library's monthly chess club for kids. Chess boards and sets will be provided. All you need to do is register by phoning (503)350-3600 or stopping by the Children's Desk on the first floor of the library to sign up in person. This is a great opportunity to improve your chess skills and make new friends. Chess Club meets on the third Saturday of the month from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Our meeting for January is Saturday, January 15, 2011. We hope to see your there. -gw-
